Hello Friends!!

Hello Fellow Bloggers,

Sorry its been so long since I’ve last blogged. Things have been crazy in my life lately, but I’m excited that the holiday season is among us! I love this time of year!! Something about being with family and friends warms my heart!

I also enjoy watching all the Christmas movies. Gotta love Hallmark Channel movies and ABC family 25 days of Christmas! My favorite Christmas movies are The Santa Clause Series. Mom and I watch them together every year. It’s a tradition we started a few years back when I left for college. We always watched them when I came home for the week of Christmas.

I am truly excited to be home this year. I’ve missed being with family and friends during the holidays. I’m excited to be able to decorate with my parents this year. I really missed having our 10 feet tree last year. It’s always so beautiful!

Anyway enough about me.. how would you like to see some new work? I know its been a while! I’m trying get back into the swing of things. I have some images from a photo session I did of my friend Hannah. She is a fellow photographer. We met about 5 yrs ago at La Tech. She moved to Baton Rouge and gave me call to photograph her maternity session. Needless to say I was thrilled and honored that she would ask me. Check out here work at Photography by Hannah Lugibihl

Remembering 9/11

I just wanted to take time to reflect on the 10th Anniversary of a day none of us will ever forget. I know I was in High School on that dreaded day and when I reflect upon it I’m not sure I really understood the ramifications of it. I don’t think I ever thought that 10 years later we would still be fighting a War that began all those years ago. I surely never thought it would take 10 years to catch the man responsible for taking all those lives that day. Over these last 10 years I have had friends who have fought for our freedom in this war and have met many more who have been personally been touched by it. Over the last year I have met many of our service men and women who have fought for our country over many decades and I have learned the true meaning of sacrifice through their stories. I am grateful for that.

Not let us take time to remember, grieve, and express gratitude to those who have demonstrated heroism. We should always live in honor and be grateful for the country we live in as well as the freedoms that been granted to us.

Always remember the Words of God in 2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS{BATON ROUGE PHOTOGRAPHER}

It’s that time of year when we start preparing for the Holidays. I thought I could help you out by starting my HOLIDAY MINI SESSIONS early. One less thing to worry about so you can get all that shopping done for your kiddies, friends, and families. I know it is still a little warm but we will only spend about 30 minutes shooting and leaving you with beautiful images to share with all your family and friends. I love when I get personalized Christmas Cards. I can’t wait to tear into the envelope and see the photographs, especially if it is someone I haven’t seen for awhile.

The Special STARTS on September 17, 2011 and ends November 8, 2011. This will assure you get your greeting cards in time for the Holidays. The Session will include:

25 – 5×7 Flat Greeting Cards with envelopes ($55 Value) (Client will choose card from those available)

30-45 Minute Session

1 Location Only – Client Choice – Preferably Outdoors

1 Outfit

Max of 5 Family members – May add more at additional charge.

Personal Viewing and Ordering Meeting and Password Protected Online Gallery 5-10 images

Investment: $100 + Sales Tax ($50 non – refundable retainer fee at time of booking)

You can chose to photograph your whole family or just your children. Newlyweds are welcome. Greeting Cards would be a great way to share your first Christmas with family and friends. Grandparents, I’m sure your family would love a beautiful Christmas card from you as well. You may also order additional images or greeting cards at our Ala Carte prices.
